Uppercase Converter

All-caps text shows up in specific, practical places: legal disclaimers and contract clauses that are conventionally set in caps, warning labels, form fields that require caps for scanning or data entry, filenames and product codes, and stylized headlines. It's less suited to body text or long passages of prose, since research on reading speed consistently shows all-caps text is read more slowly than mixed case, and in casual writing and chat it's widely read as shouting.
