About JPG to PDF
Turning a JPG into a PDF page mostly means embedding it: the existing JPEG-compressed image data is placed into a page as an image object, wrapped in a page description that positions it to fill the page, rather than being decoded and recompressed from scratch. That's why the process is fast even for many images at once, and why image quality carries over essentially unchanged from the source photo.
It's the standard way to turn phone photos of paperwork into something that behaves like a real document — scanned receipts for an expense report, photographed pages of a form, or copies of an ID submitted for verification. Reordering the images before conversion sets the final page order, so a multi-page scan captured out of sequence can be straightened out before it becomes a PDF.
Because the source photo is embedded largely as-is, this tool won't straighten a crooked scan, crop out a background, or fix lighting — whatever the photo looks like is what ends up on the page. It also doesn't force a fixed page size like Letter or A4; each page is sized to match its image's own dimensions, so a portrait photo and a landscape photo in the same batch will produce differently shaped pages.
